Jamey Craig
President

CraigJamey Craig brings nearly 30 years of track construction experience to this leadership role as president of PNR RailWorks, the largest railway contractor in Canada. Soon after joining PNR RailWorks in 1984, he completed the company's first major venture in Eastern Canada:  construction of a new rail yard facility for Via Rail. While leading the company's Eastern division for more than 20 years, he was instrumental in dramatically expanding its revenue base and project scope. In 2006 he was named president of PNR RailWorks. Under his leadership, the company has achieved double-digit annual revenue growth and exemplary safety performance. Jamey has a degree in civil engineering and earned his professional engineering status in 1982.

Peter Pearce

Peter Pearce first worked in construction over 40 years ago and since then has helped build dams, bridges, industrial plants, highways and railways. Early in his career, Peter worked in the engineering department of CP Rail on the design and construction of the Rogers Pass project, the largest construction project in North America at the time. Since then, he has remained in railroad contracting, including involvement in the construction of virtually every light rail transit system built in western Canada. Peter joined PNR RailWorks in 1982 and has served in various management roles. In his present role, which he’s had since 2006, Peter is responsible for numerous corporate functions and operations in Western Canada.

Dave Wilfong
Vice President - Operation, Eastern Canada

Dave Wilfong joined PNR RailWorks in 2004 as project manager for GO Transit track and signal maintenance.  He served as assistant manager–railway operations and later manager of the company’s Eastern Region prior to being appointed vice president of operations for Eastern Canada in 2008. His responsibilities include all ongoing work in eastern Canada as well as the signals division, which encompasses all of Canada. Dave brings nearly three decades of industry experience to his role, including 19 years at Canadian National Railway and, more recently, at Hovey Industries Ltd. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario and is a member of several professional engineering and railway organizations.

Jeff Loewen

Jeff Loewen came to PNR RailWorks in 1999 as its controller, providing overall financial direction in the areas of cash flow planning, reporting, systems and controls, budgeting and forecasting, and financing during a period of significant company expansion. Prior to that time, he worked for KPMG for seven years in Abbotsford, B.C. as a senior accountant and manager. Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C., and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1995 with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. He has served as chairman and board member on financial boards and committees for non-profit organizations and maintains involvement in these areas.

Sherry Chin-Shue

Sherry Chin-Shue is a seasoned human resources professional who directs PNR RailWorks staff recruitment, development and retention; the company’s employee performance appraisal program along with reward and recognition programs; labour relations, organizational development and all other related functions. During 20 years as an HR consultant, she provided human resource guidance to the Provincial Health Services Authority, the British Columbia Cancer Agency and CTEW Executive Personnel Services Inc. Sherry received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario and a human resources management diploma from the Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional and member of the Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia.

Helen Aherne
Corporate Health & Safety Manager

Helen Aherne heads the planning and development of all workplace safety and health matters for PNR RailWorks. Besides guiding the Health & Safety staff in promoting the supporting activities of each region, she leads the promotion and integration of Occupational Health and Safety for PNR RailWorks throughout Canada. Helen identifies health and safety training requirements specified by law as well as by internal regulations, oversees the implementation of related training programs and manages program implementation. She employs more than a decade of health and safety experience, holds a diploma in occupational health and safety and is a member of several professional health and safety organizations.

Herb Schmidt
Manager–Pacific Region

Herb Schmidt has been a leader in the Pacific Region since 1984, and as that region’s manager since 2006, has been influential in its significant growth. Herb is responsible for operations, employees, customer service and strategic planning. In addition, he is in charge of all construction and maintenance projects throughout the region, including customer and vendor business relationships, and plays a key role in new business development. Before assuming his present post, Herb served as Pacific Region trackman, track foreman, superintendent and assistant manager. While superintendent, he introduced and developed scheduled maintenance programs. Early in his career, Herb was a partner in a concrete form rental company.

Trevor Fourmeaux
Manager–Prairie Region

Trevor Fourmeaux runs the operations for the Prairie Region of PNR RailWorks. In his post, Trevor provides strategic guidance for the day-to-day track construction and maintenance activities and is in charge of business planning for the region. Trevor has more than two decades of supervisory and management leadership in the construction and forest products industries, including time spent as senior business manager for the Surespan Group of Companies. There, he led the restructuring of one business unit and secured market growth opportunities for another. Trevor has earned several certifications from the Council of Forest Industries and Dale Carnegie Training.

Benoit Labrosse
Manager-PNR Coyle

Benoit Labrosse directs all operations for PNR Coyle inc., PNR RailWorks Quebec division based in the Montreal suburb of Delson. As a key member of the management team, he brings strategic and operational leadership to all track construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects and also is among leaders responsible for business planning, including developing new business and other growth opportunities in the province of Quebec. Before beginning his career with PNR RailWorks, Benoit was involved for nearly 30 years in civil construction, project management and municipal engineering management with organizations such as the City of Mont-Tremblant and the Janin Group.

Gord Strilchuk
Vice President - Signals & Communications

Strilchuk
Gord Strilchuk leads more than 100 supervisory, union and non-union staff in the construction, installation and maintenance of railway signals and communication equipment. His responsibilities have included the installation of a crossing warning system on GO Transit’s Barrie Line as well as the $7.2 million Edmonton light rail transit expansion. Gord came to PNR RailWorks in 2004 after more than 30 years with Canadian National, where he recently had worked with CN Capital Planning, coordinating the budgeting and implementation of capital signal programs in eastern Canada. He is a past officer for the Internal Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, having served as secretary-treasurer and as local chairman.
